User association to survey responses

Is there any way in the data tables to associate a specific survey user to a specific voter response set?

We need to maintain a status list by user of what surveys have been completed and what surveys have not.  We see the ContextUserName value in the voter table, however this is populated with a variety of values and not easily searched or filtered on.

Are we missing something obvious?

You can add the "Survey Security Context" to your survey so only voters registered as users in SP can log in to the tool and answer the survey. If they do their registered username will be added to the ContextUserName column in the vts_tbvoter table. Through the ContextUsername you can link the vts_tbuser table to the vts_tbvoter. Vts_Tbvoter is linked to vts_tbsurvey by the surveyid field.

One other option is to make use of the ASP security context which will also fill the ContextUsername column but this is less clear.

You can also find a database model at the documentation section to check the different relations.

Hope this will help to find the proper solution.
