Some interesting news:

- traced down an original (web)source version of Nsurvey 1.9
- missing sources extracted through Reflector
- solution almost complete
- will publish the files soon (initially as a separate trunk)

Kind regards,

My question is somewhat related to Nsurvey 1.9, but let me know if this is not the proper forum.

We are currently running surveys on the following platform:

Powered by NSurvey (1.9.1.0) - The web survey and form engine
(c) 2004, 2005 Thomas Zumbrunn. All rights reserved.

And would like to go to the latest "Survey - web survey & form engine" from this site, version Survey 1.1.0 Feb 21 2010, Beta.

I know that this survey project is based on NSurvey 1.6, not 1.9.  Would this make such a migration, while keeping our existing surveys intact, impossible or very difficult?  Would we basically have to downgrade to NSurvey 1.6 in order to upgrade to Survey 1.1.0?  What is the migration path from NSurvey 1.9.1.0 to Survey 1.1.0?  Has anyone done this before?

Hello,

If I can advise you to wait just a little longer (expected: one or two weeks max.) untill the next version of Survey will be published based on the Nsurvey 1.9 code you may not have to downgrade.
To test if your current surveys still work in any (new) Survey verion you can export them to an XML file and then import the file into the the new installation and check if everthing still works.

Kind regards,
