Hi everyone,

We have a survey tool called Vovici but we are getting rid of it and instead of creating a new tool from scratch, I installed Survey Project to test out to see if it could fit our needs. I'm new to it but from I see it does just about everything we need except star ratings...

I would like to incorporate the jQuery Star Rating Plugin ( with the Survey Project to create multiple rows and columns with headers. The column headers for example would be the names of systems we have and the row headers would be features of each. The star rating would easily allow survey users to rate many features of each system quickly and easily without the survey being too long.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? I appreciate any help you can provide, thanks!

You would have to create (i.e. program) a new answertype for that.

Check the Webcontrols project for that: \Reflector\Nsurvey_WebControls\Votations.NSurvey.WebControls.UI...
and create a new version of CheckBoxMatrixQuestion.cs.

Kind regards,

It would have to be added as a feature request first through the Issues menu. Including a detailed description of what is suggested. Depending on the nr. of votes or availability of programmers it could become part of a future SP version. You can add the issue - request yourself.

Hello ,

I did tried the adding new answer Type using this plugin.
It is displaying , but I am not able to save its response.
Can anyone guide me how the responses are collected in Survey Project.? Also how to fire the mentioned Jquery function to collect the response to server side variable.
